More detail about the role This post will involve working as a high-level practitioner with advanced clinical skills, primarily to ensure that patients receive holistic, timely and high-quality clinical care.
You will provide specialist management and advice for patients with MSK conditions and be responsible for specialist assessment of children and young people. The post holder will work autonomously in delivering clinics on behalf of the Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeons, providing initial assessment and diagnosis, identifying and interpreting appropriate investigations, whilst identifying and listing for surgical and therapeutic procedures and the follow up of patients.
You will be involved in the screening and triage of patients and provide a first-line advisory service to referrers. The successful candidate will have significant experience of managing patients with a wide range of neuromusculoskeletal conditions; have post-graduate qualifications relevant to the position and demonstrable, high level clinical reasoning skills.
The post holder will be self-motivated, have excellent communication and leadership skills, and be able to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
