Senior Network Services Analyst

RSR Public Safety are currently recruiting on behalf of a West Midlands Police for a Senior Network Services Analyst.

This is a full-time, permanent role, based in Birmingham City Centre, offering a salary of £52,389.

Main Duties:

 •  The provision of network services to include the support and maintenance of policy, systems and procedures, performance management, together with the efficient and effective use of resources.
 •  Provide specialist technical skills and knowledge that facilitate the security, integrity, and availability of the above network skillset technical areas.
 •  Manage incidents and service requests to meet the needs of the force and make best used of the resources available.
 •  Provide reports and comprehensive working papers including making recommendations for improvements or amendments to systems within the team.
 •  Assist with the live implementation of new Force systems and their consequent maintenance and support, ensuring efficiency, legality and security are maintained.
 •  Ensure technology is maintained, serviced, and repaired as required.
 •  Ability to interpret statistical data and advise management of trends.

Essential Requirements:

 •  Experience and knowledge of the below -
 •  Core networking (layer-2/3 routing and switching technologies)
 •  Firewall, Proxy and Application Load Balancing
 •  Telephony Systems (Internal telephony capability and contact centres).
 •  Cloud Networking (as it relates to any public cloud provider)
