Depot Operations Coordinator
Location Telford
Salary £29000 - £30000 per annum
Full time Seasonal work so could be start of 6am in peak and 8am Off peak
5pm finish time with some Sat AM work
Job Description
To meet highly professional standards of distribution and safe operating procedures within local depot
To provide the highest level of customer service
To develop, coordinate all members of local depot in line with company policies and SOP’s
Duties
Carry out all administration in relation to processing orders, ensuring accurate accounting, documentation and according to company processes and procedures.
Liaise closely with distribution and sales teams to ensure customer service levels are delivered
Deal with any ‘trade counter’ enquiries and associated cash sales
Support in ensuring availability of company stock holding
Ensure supplies are distributed promptly and efficiently and that all transactions are permissible and within the requirements of Finance, BASIS, Poisons regulations etc.
Carry out loading and unloading (physical manual handling) as required
Ensures smooth operation of depot including compliance with all legislation (e.g., but not exhaustive – Poisons regulations, Health & safety at Work Act, Fire Regulations, VOSA, BASIS
Maintain appropriate accounting and reporting procedures in relation to all company monies and stock
Ensure security of company cash, stock and property.
Organise and coordinate the daily workload
Arrange and carry out appropriate training with team members as necessary
Ensure effective communication both in relation to local depot team, broader
distribution team and local commercial team
Carry out all administration required
Deal with telephone and customer facing enquiries
Ensure high standards and values at all times within the office
Carry out any other duties reasonably requested by the Depot Supervisor, Regional Supply Manager and National Supply Manager, and within the remit of depot duties.
