Client and Business Development Manager – Executive Education

Our esteemed client, a distinguished leader in award-winning leadership development and executive education, seeks a seasoned Client and Business Development Manager to join their team. This role centres on cultivating strong client relationships, developing and executing business development plans to contribute to the successful implementation of the Institute’s executive education strategy.
The ideal candidate will be tasked with meeting annual revenue targets by nurturing strategic alliances with current clients while also identifying and engaging new clients aligned with strategic objectives.

Client and Business Development Manager: Key responsibilities
 •  Establish and maintain relationships with existing and new client groups to support the development and delivery of high-quality education and leadership development programmes
 •  Identify and develop new client opportunities across key international markets and sectors
 •  Collaborate with colleagues to streamline the design and communication of value propositions targeting key market sectors and segments
 •  Work in close collaboration with colleagues to develop both sectoral and market outreach and engagement strategies which enhance the reach and reputation of the Institute
 •  Work in collaboration with colleagues to create commercial programme proposals which reflect and respond directly to client needs
 •  Lead in the development of key commercial arrangements using strong commercial and consultative selling skills
 •  Support the execution of the Institutes’ strategic plan through the delivery of revenue growth in line with performance metrics and budgets.

Client and Business Development Manager: Skills/experience
 •  Significant, proven/demonstrable experience in client relations, business development, account management, customer service and expertise in consultative selling, preferably in an executive education or a related field
 •  Comfortable dealing with senior business contacts both internally (including CEO, Director of Finance, Executive Director of Executive Education, Chair of the Board, etc.) and externally within private and public sector organisations across the globe and acting as a bridge between the clients and internal teams
 •  Ability to work effectively in both education and business settings
 •  Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple programmes simultaneously.
