Role of an HCA
Are you an enthusiastic Health care assistant wanting to have influence in the lives of others, we are currently looking for staff to join our team in Colchester nursing homes, providing 24hours care and support to our residents.
Duties:
• Providing personal care and support to residents, including assisting with bathing, dressing, and feeding.
• Assisting residents with mobility and activities of daily living ensuring they are comfort and well looked after.
• Support residents with medication.
• Engaging with residents in all social activities indoors & outdoors, providing companionship to promote their physical and mental wellbeing.
Requirements:
• Previous experience working as an HCA or support worker, must have a minimum of 6months plus in healthcare industry.
• Effective communication & interception skills
• Must have a child & adult DBS on update service.
• Must have own car due to location so must have a UK full driving licence.
