HCR is recruiting for two BRAND-NEW children's services we are looking for a Registered Children's Home Manager. To run 2x state-of-the-art bedded residential children's homes we will consider candidates with a background in working in the residential children's setting for the past 5 years or more.
Are you a Registered Children's Home Manager looking for a new challenge? Or are you a children's Deputy Manager, Team Leader, or Senior Care Assistant who is looking for progression? This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative care provider.
Registered Children Home Manager Duties:
To be the Ofsted Registered Children Home Manager for the children's home and act on behalf of the organisation to ensure that the home meets relevant requirements set out in legislation.
To provide effective leadership and management and to always remain professional.
Ensure the implementation of all designated areas of the child(rens) care plan by OFSTED standards, regulations, and the child’s LAC plans.
To ensure a high standard of consistent care and service by legislation, government guidance, regulations, and standards, and the policies and procedures of the registered provider are implemented.
Ensure a coordinated approach to services for children and young people.
Registered Children Home Manager Remuneration:
Pay review after successful completion of registration with Ofsted.
Full sick pay
Performance related bonus

Excellent in-house training with opportunities to obtain NVQ Level 5 in Leadership & Management.

Registered Children Home Manager Requirements:

Ideally to have but not essential an NVQ Level 5 or Diploma in Leadership & Management in Residential Children’s Services or be willing to obtain, our client will fully fund it.
