About Us:
We are a well-established care facility dedicated to providing compassionate care to elderly residents, specialising in nursing dementia care.
Responsibilities:
Assist residents with personal care needs, medication administration, and daily activities.
Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, ensuring their well-being.
Supervise and support the care team, ensuring quality care delivery.
Maintain accurate records of care plans, observations, and incidents.
Plan and implement social and recreational activities for residents.
Monitor residents' health and report any changes to healthcare professionals.
Ensure cleanliness and hygiene of residents' living areas.
Requirements:
NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
Valid Manual Handling and Medication Administration certifications.
Knowledge of safeguarding vulnerable adults and experience in implementing procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Prior experience as a Senior Care Assistant in a Care Home.
Understanding of person-centred care and dignity in care practices.
Ability to handle challenging situations with empathy.
Strong observational and reporting skills.
