Location: Central Rotherham
Age Group: 16-25 FE
Contract: Full-time, with transition to college contract
Start Date: Immediate, as soon as vetting checks completed

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our young learners with autism, Down syndrome, and other additional needs in achieving their full potential. Our curriculum is tailored to focus on life skills alongside basic academic qualifications like Functional Skills English and Maths.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with diverse learning needs.
Assist in the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies.
Collaborate with teachers and therapists to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Facilitate practical sessions to develop life skills and promote independence.

Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the teaching team.Requirements:

Previous experience working with learners with SEND, particularly autism and Down syndrome.
Ability to deliver basic academic qualifications such as Functional Skills English and Maths.
Passion for supporting young people in reaching their full potential.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
