Students are diagnosed with ASD, PMLD and have EHCP’s
Some students require assistance with toileting
A warm, welcoming and caring school
The role
Working Monday to Friday
Supporting children with Autism
Supporting children of various ages and abilities
Some 1-2-1 and whole class support required
Assisting with lunchtime and breaks
Some personal care required
Providing emotional and curriculum support
You
Will have a minimum of 3 months experience in a school or working with children
Will hold a CACHE Level 2 in Supporting Teaching and Learning or higher/equivalent (not essential)
Will have special needs experience particularly with Autism
Will be comfortable supporting varying needs
Will be comfortable working with children of various ages
Will be caring and patient
Will have the ability to build strong rapport with students
Will be comfortable and confident when supporting with personal care
