Job Profile
Authorising Engineer required. Our client is specialist in design, installation and commissioning of mechanical and electrical systems in the commercial sector for blue chip clients. They are looking for an Authorising Engineer to join the team in East London due to the growth of the business.
Successful candidates will have experience in an Electrical Qualifying Supervisor role in the commercial sector as a minimum and must be ready to take a step up into an Authorising Engineer position. Candidates would oversee numerous projects at once.
Authorising Engineer Position Overview
• Ensuring the project was on time and budget
• The ESSW were being followed
• Overview and manage the test folder
• Ensure QA documents are issued
• Prepare the project for NICEIC certification
• Attend commissioning meetings
• Arrange and manage on site testing teams
• Manage all project testing documentation
• Manage and co-ordinate LV, Earthing & Modular wiring testing
• Manage PME electronic and update fixed wiring test folder
• Manage project gateway tracker, project schematics, and request for isolation and documentation issue.
• Carry out and Manage LOTO, PME key procedure, PME Permit issue and review of task RAMS
• Check protective devise settings against selectivity study and torque of connections to manufacturers required levels
• Collating programmes, testing and cost trackers, review test results, manage handover and close out of the project.
Authorising Engineer Position Requirements
• 5+ years experience as a Qualifying Supervisor
• Good knowledge of both BS7671 and BS5266
• HV qualification advantageous
• JIB Gold Card/ Black Card approved.
Authorising Engineer Position Remuneration
• Salary: £60,000- £70,000
• Working hours: 7:30- 4pm
• Holiday: 25 days + 8BH
