Waingels Gardens Day Nursery is a dedicated and passionate childcare provider based in Woodley, accessible from Wokingham and Reading, situated in the grounds of Waingels college, with plenty of parking!
Available from: Jul/Aug 2024
Salary: From £28,000 DOE and hours
Contract: Fixed term vacancy -12 months minimum, in a Room Based role to cover maternity leave.
Key responsibilities:
The Deputy Manager will have consideration for the Forbury Group of Nurseries ‘Ethos’ to create an environment where children are engaged, motivated, independent thinkers, who have a positive attitude to learning, supported by secure and respectful relationships, in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.
To assist and at times take full responsibility for the effective day to day running of the Nursery.

The successful Deputy Manager will:
Have a minimum of 2 years Nursery experience and have experience in a leadership role (room leader, senior nursery nurse, team leader), hold a Level 3 or above Early Years childcare qualification such as EYE, NVQ, NNEB, CACHE or recognised equivalent.
