Role and Responsibilities:

Expertise in devising and implementing innovative teaching approaches to engage students and cultivate critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in employing teaching strategies to effectively support students from various backgrounds, ensuring fairness and inclusivity in the classroom.
Skill in establishing positive relationships with students, parents/guardians, and colleagues to foster a strong sense of community and collaborative learning.
Strong dedication to nurturing students' social-emotional development by seamlessly integrating SEL principles into daily lessons and classroom interactions.
Commitment to maintaining a positive and growth-oriented mindset, actively pursuing self-assessment, feedback, and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching effectiveness continuously.
Willingness to actively participate in school-wide initiatives, committees, and professional learning communities to contribute to the ongoing improvement of school culture and instructional practices.
Crafting coherent and well-structured lesson plans aligned with the standards of KS1 and KS2 curriculum.
Delivering planned lessons to the students as well as marking students work.

The ideal candidate will:

Have recent experience in teaching primary schools
Strong knowledge of the KS1 and KS2 curriculum
Degree and QTS Desirable (Unqualified Teachers also welcome to apply)
Be a committed team player
Be confident and adaptable to different environments
Have strong classroom management skills
Able to commute to and from Princes Risborough and surrounding areas
