Teaching Personnel are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a school in Stockport. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children with special needs, be patient, empathetic, and committed to supporting their learning and development.

Throughout this role, you will earn a competitive salary between £425 and £475 per week.

Key Responsibilities:

 •  Provide support to students with special educational needs in the classroom.
 •  Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering tailored lessons.
 •  Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
 •  Work one-on-one or in small groups with students who require additional support.
 •  Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.

Requirements:

 •  Previous experience working with children with special educational needs is preferred.
 •  Relevant qualifications in education or childcare are desirable.
 •  Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
 •  Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
 •  Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in supporting children with diverse learning needs.
