Are you looking for a rewarding career within a Trust that can offer continued professional development?
Would you like to make a positive difference to young people’s lives by supporting and developing their learning?
If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

A new and exciting opportunity has been created for a Pastoral and Provision Manager to join us at Melton and South Charnwood Inclusion Partnership (MSCIP), located at The Roundhill Academy. The Melton and South Charnwood Inclusion Partnership works with schools in the area to support children and young people who are finding it difficult to thrive and succeed in a mainstream setting.
This is an exciting time to join MSCIP as we look to expand our offer to our local schools.

The post holder will oversee the day to day pastoral and provision needs of the MSCIP students. The role will involve working closely with the MSCIP Co-ordinator and MSCIP Lead Teacher to ensure an excellent quality of provision is in place both on site and off site, including alternative site and work experience placements.
The successful candidate will take the lead on the operational management of the provision for Key Stage 3 & 4 pupils who are not able to attend mainstream school because of behavioural issues.

This role is a rewarding one with a successful candidate having the opportunity to play a key role in supporting young people to maintain their school placements and avoiding suspensions and permanent exclusion. This is the perfect opportunity for someone with a pastoral background who is looking to take the next step in their career.

The ideal candidate will:
 •  Have previous experience of working with vulnerable young people in a school setting or similar.
 •  Be educated to degree level or have equivalent experience and qualifications in relation to education, welfare and safeguarding
 •  Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
 •  Be emotionally and physically resilient to meet the challenges and demands of the role
 •  Have the ability to build relationships and liaise with outside agencies, parents and carers
 •  Demonstrate professional integrity, resilience and an enthusiastic, energetic spirit

In return we offer:
 •  Opportunity to work within a supportive team
 •  Opportunities for career development with access to apprenticeship and training schemes
 •  Generous annual leave entitlements
 •  Access to the generous Local Government Pension Scheme (24% contribution by the employer)
 •  Employee Support Service (counselling) for employees and close family members (24/7 support)
 •  Employee Discount and Benefit Scheme
 •  Opportunity for an annual flu vaccination
