Job Description
• Manage, train and develop the labour resources of all Shopfloor staff over all shifts
• Drive best production methods and improve efficiencies throughout the manufacturing process

• In conjunction with the Manufacturing Director and Quality Manager ensure that all HSE standards are engrained in all shop floor activities.
• Work with the Customer Services Team to ensure the Production Plan is adhered to and on time customer deliveries are achieved.
• Customer Meetings and Site visits as required to promote the business and its offering
Experience
The successful candidate must be technically strong with a background in CNC Engineering and a time served Engineer. They must be able to demonstrate strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate Teams by effective and clear communication.
This is a hands on role with an opportunity to put your own mark on developing and growing the business to the next level.
It is critical for the Production Manager to be competent in managing teams and knowledge of good HR practices in order to work closely with that function within the business.
Exposure to subcontract engineering business and working for an SME is an immediate advantage
