Your new company

At Hays Education Plymouth, we aim to recruit and match teachers to their ideal role. We work in partnership with a number of schools across Devon, helping them with their recruitment needs. This includes day-to-day supply, long-term, and permanent roles.
As a teacher with Hays, we provide you with all the necessary information and support to ensure you are comfortable with the role you are in, with regular check-ins from experienced educational consultants. Become a lifelong partner with Hays, and we will help you achieve your career goals.

Your new role

We are currently recruiting for qualified secondary school teachers of any subject in the Plymouth area where Hays is working closely with several schools and supporting them with their recruitment needs. The teaching roles we are currently recruiting for offer you complete control and flexibility, meaning you can select either a full-time or part-time work pattern.
In addition, your pay will reflect the responsibilities involved in the role, which can sometimes include planning and marking, however, this will be discussed with you during our registration process, where you will meet your personal consultant and discuss your ideal work scenario.
We welcome applications from both experienced and early career teachers.

For all teaching roles with Hays, you will need to provide the necessary documents required for our compliance process, which includes eligibility to work in the UK, recent teaching or placement references, teaching qualifications, and a recent proof of address.
We can help you obtain a new DBS if necessary, which you only pay for once in a role with Hays. Flexibility in this role is desired, including the ability to adapt your teaching techniques to suit the needs of your students. Demonstrating professional conduct at all times is essential, which includes adhering to all safeguarding policies.
We welcome applicants who are currently working for other agencies and can offer guaranteed contracts offering financial security.

What you'll get in return
 •  Competitive rates of pay.
 •  Holiday pay and pension contributions.
 •  £250 in shopping vouchers for teachers who sign up and complete 21 days with Hays.
 •  Ongoing support from consultants with extensive educational knowledge.
 •  Refer-a-Friend scheme worth £250 in high street vouchers.
 •  Guaranteed payment scheme.
 •  Exclusive access to the Hays Education Safeguarding training free of charge.
