Key Responsibilities:

 •  Lead product innovation projects, from concept to market testing, collaborating with suppliers, academic partners, and internal teams.
 •  Develop prototype recipes that demonstrate new ingredient applications across product categories.
 •  Ensure that projects align with the company's science strategy and long-term sustainability goals.
 •  Conduct product testing, including sensory evaluations, consumer feedback, analytical tests, and shelf-life assessments.
 •  Represent Product Innovation at industry events and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and academic institutions.

Knowledge and Skills:

 •  Innovative mindset with an understanding of ingredient sustainability and emerging food technologies.
 •  Strong project management skills, with experience coordinating multi-disciplinary teams.
 •  Knowledge of consumer research and sensory science to guide product development.
 •  Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
 •  Proficiency in IT systems like MS Office.

Qualifications and Experience:

 •  A-levels required, degree in a Science discipline (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Food, Nutrition) preferred.
 •  Experience in product development within the food/drinks or FMCG industry.
 •  Academic or applied research experience (e.g., MSc/PhD) is an advantage.
