Opened in March 2022, our client's brand-new, purpose-built facility seeks an RVN/nearly qualified SVN to complement their close-knit, supportive team. This role offers a chance to influence and tailor responsibilities to suit individual interests, making it an ideal opportunity to contribute to both the practice's growth and your own career development.
The successful candidate will work within a supportive team environment, where their opinions and contributions are valued. They will have the opportunity to shape their role, whether through running nurse clinics, assisting in surgeries, or focusing on anaesthesia.
Our client's Practice Manager is available to provide mentorship and support as needed. This role aims to empower veterinary professionals to fulfil their clinical potential while contributing to the practice's success.
Responsibilities:
• Run nurse clinics and perform schedule 3 procedures.
• Work closely with the vet team in surgery and anaesthesia.
• Utilize advanced facilities, including heated kennels, separate catteries, and isolation areas with dimmable lighting.
• Implement technology-driven processes, such as self-service check-in and tablet-style laptops, to streamline operations.
• Collaborate with Pet Health Advisors to enhance the customer experience and support clients throughout their visit.
Requirements:
• Qualified RVN or nearly qualified SVN.
• Passion for delivering outstanding pet healthcare and exceptional customer service.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work full-time or part-time, with some weekends on a fair rota basis.
• Willingness to engage in flexible working and job share options.
