Our client an Italian luxury specialist travel business is looking for a Travel Planner & Operations Manager. This role will play a critical part in arranging bespoke itineraries for our clients, inspiring them with ideas and suggestions, and making sure that they have a wonderful experience.
You will be handling the booking processes from start to finish and will be in contact with suppliers, villa owners, luxury travel agencies and direct clients. Excellent client and customer relationship skills will be required to liaise with the upmarket clientele as well as establishing close relationships with the Italian villa owners.

Skills
 •  Solid background in creating bespoke travel experiences in Italy
 •  Proven track record in client management in a luxury travel firm, preferably with a focus on villa rentals
 •  Knowledge of Italy as a tourist destination
 •  Experience in collaborating with luxury accommodations and service providers as well as in working with high-net-worth clients
 •  Commitment to providing unparalleled customer service along with the ability to anticipate and fulfil the unique needs and preferences of luxury clientele
 •  Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, as well as with partners, vendors, and other stakeholders in the luxury travel industry, fostering trust and loyalty
 •  High levels of literacy in English, written and verbal;
Good knowledge of the Italian language, written and verbal
 •  Competence in using computer systems as well as Word, Excel, CRM systems and digital Apps
 •  Good problem-solving skills, ability to work under pressure, to think creatively and commercially and to create win-win situations between clients and owners
 •  Strong levels of self-organisation and discipline, ability to work flexibly around clients’ needs (clients are predominantly US based, so answering emails over the evenings and weekends may be required)
 •  Must be enthusiastic about creating unforgettable experiences and exceeding client expectations
