About Our Client

Our client are a leading supplier of high-quality building products committed to innovation, sustainability, and superior customer service. Our client serves a diverse range of clients within the construction and building industry, providing essential materials and solutions for Commercial projects.

Due to a promotion within the team, they are seeking a Sales Account Manager to join the business to manage their Construction portfolio of customers, covering the UK you will be working with Main and Sub Contractors across the UK. You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Job Description
 •  Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand customer base within the building products segment.
 •  Manage existing client accounts and nurture relationships to enhance customer loyalty and maximise sales opportunities.
 •  Identify prospective customers, understand their needs, and offer innovative solutions that align with their requirements.
 •  Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and logistics, to ensure seamless delivery of products and services.
 •  Prepare and present sales proposals, conduct product demonstrations, and negotiate contracts to secure new business deals.
 •  Stay updated with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
 •  Provide regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and insights to the management team.

The Successful Applicant
 •  Proven experience in sales within the building products industry, with a successful track record of achieving sales targets.
 •  Strong understanding of construction processes and familiarity with building materials and products.
 •  Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
 •  Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and results-driven approach.
 •  Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
 •  Willingness to travel to meet clients and attend industry events as required.
