My client is seeking a highly organised and experienced Site Manager to oversee construction projects. The Site Manager will be responsible for coordinating and managing all on-site activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety regulations.
The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of Refurbishment Residential projects.
Duties:
• Plan, organize, and supervise construction projects from start to finish
• Coordinate with project stakeholders including architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
• Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary to meet deadlines
• Manage project budgets and control costs
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work is being performed according to specifications
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction
• Maintain accurate project documentation including daily reports, change orders, and progress updates
• Collaborate with the design team to review plans and specifications for constructability
• Provide regular updates to senior management on project status
Qualifications:
• Holds a Fire Stopping accreditation i.e BMTRADA
• Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role in the construction industry
• SMSTS and CSCS card
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and manage a team
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
