MC Technical Recruitment is currently looking to recruit a Mechanical Engineer to carry out the maintenance on an Anaerobic Digestion site.

Our client is a leading business within the Renewable Energy sector, looking for a mechanically bias engineer to join their team.

As the Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for:

Carrying out maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment on a food waste, anaerobic digestion site
Scheduling and managing planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
Assisting with continuous improvement works and projects
Responding to breakdowns in an efficient manner to ensure maximum plant availability
Working on an earlies/lates shift pattern
Other duties as required

To be considered for this role you should have:

Proven experience carrying out maintenance on mechanical equipment such pumps, gearboxes and water treatment experience
A relevant engineering qualification eg: NVQ/HNC/Btec etc

Experience within Anaerobic Digestion or other similar process environments(Water treatment/food processing/chemical plant etc.) is desired but not essential
Marine engineers are also encouraged to apply for this role
A full UK driving licence is essential for this role
The ability to work a shift pattern including earlies and lates
