Caddy group are looking to speak to Mechanical Estimators to join our client. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical estimating, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering accurate and competitive bids.

Key Responsibilities:
• Analyse project specifications, drawings, and other documents to prepare accurate cost estimates for mechanical systems.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information and ensure all aspects of the project are considered.
• Utilise industry knowledge and best practices to develop competitive pricing strategies while maintaining profitability.
• Prepare comprehensive bid proposals and presentations for clients, highlighting key features and value propositions.
• Conduct thorough cost analysis and risk assessment to identify potential challenges and opportunities for cost savings.
• Keep up to date with market trends, material costs, and labor rates to ensure estimates are current and competitive.
Qualifications:
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex technical documents.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
