As the Supply Chain Manager for Europe, you will be responsible for managing supply chain partners by acting as the main Point of Contact for external parties, taking responsibility for all internal queries related to the supplier portfolio, and delivering opportunities to achieve growth targets.

Key Responsibilities:

 •  Establish new relationships with multinational, regional, and local fuel suppliers, logistics providers, into-plane and tank farm operators.
 •  Complete an initial screening and onboarding process to ensure that each supplier has the capability, capacity and standards to perform to the necessary requirements.
 •  Manage and grow existing relationships, act as the external primary Point of Contact for day-to-day contracts management.
 •  Negotiate and execute contractual terms, including costs, credit limits, and service levels.
 •  Ensure contract obligations are fulfilled to levels that satisfy our customers and intervene to resolve any performance issues.
 •  Understand the full supply chain, including product origin, logistics, storage, on-airport stock management, and into-plane services at all airports within an assigned segment in Europe.
 •  Implement and improve operating processes to achieve ambitious growth plans.
 •  Act as the final resolution owner for all disputes between the business and its suppliers.

Required Skills and Experience:

 •  Four-year Bachelor's degree in either Business, Economics, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or similar discipline preferred.
 •  5 years of experience in a supply and logistics role in a downstream oil and gas company - Aviation Operations Management roles would be advantageous.
 •  The ideal candidate will possess industry contacts across all forms of distribution, as well as proficiency in the aviation fuel space.
 •  Refined scheduling experience preferred (truckloads and/or pipeline transfers).
 •  Experience in a fast-paced 24/7 logistical operation.
 •  Strong written and verbal English communication skills. Other European languages would be advantageous.
 •  Ability to professionally interact with others at all levels across the organization both internally and externally.
 •  Interest in Data Analytics with the ability to produce useful insights from various data sources. Advanced to expert Microsoft Excel experience which includes building spreadsheets, pivot tables and working with formulas.
 •  Ability to adapt to new processes, products, and technologies as required.
 •  Initiative, self-motivation, and ability to work well within a team environment.
 •  Proficient organization and planning skills with attention to detail.
