About the Role:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in a secondary school setting. Your responsibilities will include providing one-on-one support, assisting with classroom activities, implementing behaviour management strategies, and promoting an inclusive learning environment.
Requirements:
Previous experience working with students with SEND is highly desirable.
A good sense of humour and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
Effective behaviour management strategies to support students in achieving their full potential.
Excellent use of initiative to adapt and respond to the needs of individual students.
Supportive attitude towards students and colleagues, fostering a collaborative learning environment.
Understanding of different children's needs and learning styles, with a commitment to inclusive education.Benefits:
