Supply Chain Lead

We are currently recruiting for a Supply Chain Lead to cover 9 to 12 months of Maternity Leave.
This is a full time position working 40 hours a week Monday to Friday with some flexibility to cover weekends required.
Salary £34,000 to £36,500 per annum depending on experience.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Leadership
• a. Team Rostering
• b. Time Mgmt. and on call management
2. Forecasting
• a. Updating Cap plan with Customer updates, and sharing swings with stakeholders, linking in to point 5
• b. Coordinating, planning and micromanaging promo activity with all departments
3. Production Planning - Downstream
• a. Lead the Supply Chain Coordinators in Daily Production Scheduling
• b. Cost effective efficient daily plan to production,
i. Driving Planning improvements
ii. Flagging to Service Depts. of it impacting efficiency or service to the customer.
• c. Inventory Optimisation and understanding of PPV impacts
4. Relationship mgmt. with peer departments; Engineering, Technical, NPD, Production, collaborative CI approach
• a. Joint collaborative projects
• b. Allocation of time needed for maintenance, samples, training etc
• c. Be available for pre-pros to expand on knowledge base
5. Material Mgmt.
• a. Weekly requirements into Central Business Unit – Dashboard lead
i. Managing divergences and recovery
b. On Site Mgmt.
i. External site call offs
ii. Issuing/returns to runs
iii. IP – Most cost-effective options flagged
iv. Finished goods risk managed with customer to strive for zero waste
6. Post-Production Routines and KPI reporting
• a. Daily and weekly standard KPIs
• b. Flag rotation/missing stock/freezer variances
• c. Coordinating with Logistics providers if there are issues downstream, and subsequently the customer informed too
7. Customer Interface
• a. Supply Chain to Supply Chain’ dialogue with customer; joined up and transparent approach
• b. Stock overview, projections, derogations
• c. Enhanced comms at key points
• d. Clear communication of recovery plans or stock surplus when needed
• e. Joined up OTIF and MOQ analysis
8. Master Data Mgmt.
• a. Maintaining run rates agrees with Commercial SCM & Ops Management
• b. Supplier Master Data eg, MOQ, UOM, lead time – Flagging where differs from RACI
