Role: Contract Commercial Procurement Specialist
Location: Hybrid, nearly all remote working + Oxfordshire Head Office as required
Rate: £(Apply online only) per day Inside IR35
Duration: 9 months - start July 2024

Key Skills: Strategic and complex purchasing strategies experience, MCIPS, IACCM or equivalent professional qualifications, Senior Procurement experience in a Public Sector setting etc.

Our Client: A public Sector organisation with responsibility for National Security and Public Safety.

The Roles: These are Senior Procurement Specialist Contract roles where you will be responsible for providing authoritative advice to Financial and Operational Board members on complex strategic and operational commercial matters in this high-profile Public-Sector organisation.
Taking professional ownership of particularly complex / high risk commercial undertakings. Designing and implementing commercial strategies for programmes of work with a particular focus on intricate commercial methodologies.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

5+ years' experience delivering strategic support in Senior level procurement role(s)

Professional Membership of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (MCIPS Professional Qualification) & IACCM or equivalent professional qualifications
Significant senior level experience of leading challenging commercial undertakings in the Public Sector.
Significant experience of successfully negotiating and managing complex contracts with an advanced understanding of prevailing procurement law.
The ability to deliver effective commercial strategies, in a timely fashion, to diverse customers whilst operating within a complex regulatory environment.
The ability to design and deliver relevant, modern commercial strategies, policy and procedures complaint with Government requirements.
Current NPPV3, SC or DV clearance would be advantageous.

***You MUST be a full time Resident of the UK and have the right to work in the UK without the need for VISA sponsorship. You need to have lived and worked in the UK for the last 5 years without any extended periods outside of the UK in that time in order to be eligible for the required level of security vetting, (NPPV3)
