As a Behaviour Support Teaching Assistant, your primary focus will revolve around providing personalized assistance to students grappling with behavioural hurdles.
Your role entails close collaboration with classroom educators and other professionals to foster a nurturing and inclusive educational environment conducive to the student's growth.
The Ideal Candidate:
Prior experience in handling students facing behavioural challenges, preferably within educational or special education settings
Proficiency in behaviour management methodologies, positive reinforcement techniques, and de-escalation strategies
Aptitude in establishing rapport and nurturing positive bonds with students, showcasing attributes of patience, empathy, and comprehension
Effective verbal and written communication skills to facilitate seamless interaction with educators, parents, and fellow professionals
Demonstrable problem-solving prowess and the ability to maintain composure in demanding circumstances
