Job Title: Hygiene Team Leader
Salary: £34,000 - £36,000 + NSP
Location: Wisbech, Cambridgeshire
Shifts: Nights: 5 on, 3 off: 00:30 - 10am

Our client is a leading food business who supply to a variety of the major retailers. As they continue to expand and grow their presence in the marketplace they are now seeking a driven and ambitious Hygiene Team Leader to join their business.
• Lead and manage the hygiene team, ensuring they understand their importance to the business success.
• Fully deputise for the Hygiene Shift Leader during absences, overseeing daily operations.
• Communicate hygiene-related information confidently to external auditors.
• Monitor and manage resources (chemicals, equipment, PPE) to support efficient task performance.
• Address HR aspects such as holidays, sickness, and clocking, ensuring smooth shift operations.
• Collaborate with technical, engineering, and operations teams to improve hygiene standards.
• Identify and resolve areas of concern to prevent foreign bodies or contamination.
• Implement process improvements to enhance effectiveness, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
• Maintain and ensure the availability of necessary equipment in safe working condition.
• Conduct daily stock-takes, monitor consumables, and maintain accurate records to meet quality standards.
About you:
• Experience in a relevant food manufacturing hygiene role
• Category/product experience is flexible
• Knowledge and experience with chemicals and ability with cleaning schedules
• Excellent team player
