They are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Deputy Manager to join their leadership team and contribute to the seamless operation of the nursery.

Your Role:

As the Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Nursery Manager in overseeing the day-to-day operations and ensuring the highest standards of care and education are maintained. In the absence of the Nursery Manager, you will take the helm, ensuring the nursery continues to thrive and provide a safe, enriching environment for their children and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in managing the nursery's daily activities, ensuring a smooth and efficient operation.

Lead by example, providing high-quality care and education for the children, and encouraging continuous professional development within the team.

Oversee the implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, ensuring all children's learning outcomes are met.

Act as a key liaison between parents, carers, and professional bodies, ensuring children's needs are met and maintaining strong, supportive relationships.

Supervise and support the team, including room leaders, nursery nurses, assistants, and support staff, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.

Ensure compliance with all legal, statutory, and regulatory requirements, including OFSTED, safeguarding, and health and safety protocols.

Manage resources effectively, overseeing stock levels and ensuring the nursery environment is well-maintained and conducive to learning and development
