Exciting opportunity to join a dynamic commercial team at a museum, dedicated to exploring health and the human experience. Their mission is to create a rich, diverse, and inclusive platform that fosters thought-provoking and imaginative engagement, valuing everyone's unique health experiences.
The team oversees private hires from the initial enquiry stage through contract confirmation, coordination, and delivery. Our responsibilities encompass managing conferences, meetings, dinners, and drinks receptions for both internal and external clients.
Additionally, we handle all financial aspects related to our events, including invoicing and managing aged debt.
Responsibilities
• Client facing role working on events from the first stages of enquiry through to contracting and invoicing of the event and detailed coordination of all event logistics including but not limited to catering.
• Assisting clients with the coordination of their events
• Communicating with internal teams, service partners and suppliers at weekly meetings
• Undertaking event duty shifts including early mornings and evenings. Occasional weekend shifts will also be required.
• Ensuring events are delivered on time, including ensuring the correct room set up is complete and accurate
• Working with external suppliers to ensure effective and safe delivery
What you'll need to succeed
• Strong communication and event coordination skills
• Experience delivering commercial hire events of a high standard, dealing with internal and external operations teams and liaising with multiple clients simultaneously
• Exhibition and networking skills
• Demonstrable knowledge of an event management booking system
• Possess the capability to coordinate Hybrid Events (including elements of video conferencing / live-streaming)What you'll get in return
