Practice Accountant

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Practice Accountant to join our clients growing team and play a vital role in supporting their clients. You will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, providing accurate and timely financial services.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements) for a diverse range of clients.
• Perform bookkeeping tasks, including recording daily transactions, reconciling bank accounts, and managing accounts payable and receivable.
• Assist with tax preparation and planning for individual and business clients.
• Analyse financial data and prepare reports to help clients understand their financial performance and make informed decisions.
• Liaise with clients to gather necessary information and address their accounting needs.
• Stay up-to-date on tax laws and regulations.
• May assist with audits and other compliance procedures (depending on the role).
• Maintain accurate and organized accounting records.
• Use accounting software efficiently (e.g., Sage, Xero).
Qualifications:
• Part Qualified/ Qualified or Qualified by Experience)
• Working within Practice (Ideally)
• Strong understanding of accounting principles tax regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero).
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients
