A Technical Field Engineer is required to work Monday – Friday days for our manufacturing client based in Lewes, East Sussex. This opportunity will offer a salary of between £35,000 - £40,000 per annum in addition to benefits such as company and performance bonus, 32 days holiday including bank holidays, company van and many more.A Technical Field Engineer is required to work Monday – Friday days for our manufacturing client based in Lewes, East Sussex.
This opportunity will offer a salary of between £35,000 - £40,000 per annum in addition to benefits such as company and performance bonus, 32 days holiday including bank holidays, company van and many more.
You will be working for a market-leading, multi-million pound, global manufacturer that has been operating for nearly four decades and is continuously expanding and growing. This position will provide you with further training, career development and the chance to work within a fast-paced and dynamic department.
Roles and Responsibilities as a Technical Field Engineer:
Configure equipment and DHCP servers ahead of installation.
Answering technical queries and providing customer support via email and call.
Attending customer sites across the UK and occasionally worldwide for installations, repairs and customer feedback.
Preparing and creating media using bespoke software.
I would be interested to see CVs from candidates who have:
A valid UK driving license and passport as this is essential.
Good knowledge of Microsoft and Windows packages as this is essential.
Experience carrying out electrical repairs such as soldering, cabling, Molex crimping etc. as this is essential.
Previously worked as a Technical Field Engineer, Technical Support Technician, Electrical Field Engineer or similar role within a manufacturing environment.
Experience with Linux and/or electronic system design as this would be desirable.
