This role is fully office based and will be 3 full days a week, however there is flexibility to work 4 or 5 shorter days. This is a brilliant role for an experienced, well-rounded individual who is seeking flexibility and looking for their next challenge.

Part Time Accountant - About The Role
In this role you will be working within a finance team of 3 and will be reporting into the Finance Manager. You will be a key player in the daily running of the finance function and the ideal candidate will be available at short notice.
Your key responsibilities will be:
• Support with the preparation and production of the monthly management accounts
• Processing journals and completing balance sheet reconciliations
• Ensure accurate reporting, preparation and payment of quarterly VAT
• Monitor bank accounts to ensure positive cash-flow and regularly report and analyse on company’s financial status
• Reconcile bank accounts including credit card and petty cash
• Overseeing the transactional accounting function and ensuring that all purchase and sales invoices are processed accurately
• Managing the credit control function and producing debtor reports
• Liasing with the external accountants to deliver year-end accounts
• Instructing the outsourced payroll provider for the monthly payroll
The successful Part Time Accountant will have:
• Previous experience in a similar position
• Experience i working within an SME
• QBE/part qualified candidates will be considered
• Strong attention to detail
