Project Accountant
£40,000 to £50,000 subject to experience
Location – Buckinghamshire - Hybrid
T2M Resourcing are recruiting a Project Accountant for a highly successful manufacturing business, due to growth. As Project Accountant you will work with the business providing support and advice for the projects operation and wider stake holders, ensuring revenue and costs are in compliance with accounting policies.
As Project Accountant key responsibilities will include:
Project Accounting
• Ensure the accuracy of projects revenue, costs and profitability
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of project related Balance Sheet items including inventories, receivables and liabilities
• Periodic and ad-hoc reports on projects financial status and performance
• Partner the project managers on the financial position of their projects
• Project financial forecasting
Revenue Accounting
• Ensure the accuracy and validity of revenue recognised as per IFRS requirements
• Management of sales allowances ensuring costs and liabilities are correctly recorded
• Develop revenue reporting to enhance business insight and decision making
To be successful as Project Accountant you will have the following skills and experience:
• QBE or qualified Accountant, CIMA, ACCA, ACA,
• Ideally educated to degree level, but as a minimum “A” level qualification
• Previous experience of working in a business partnering environment
• IFRS revenue recognition experience
• Manufacturing / engineering project cycle experience
• Robust and proactive approach
• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail
Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK on a permanent full-time basis.
