We are loooking for a part time RGN (24 hours -3x 8 hour days) to work within our small team of branch nurses consisting of a childrens nurse and an LD nurse. Our team is extremely supportive and we are looking for an experienced nurse with a good sense of humour but with professionalism to join us.
You must have an active NMC registration.
The role is to case manage exisiting clients and to train staff in exisiting care packages and new staff for new clients. You will form excellent relationships with staff, clients and their families and the commisioners at continuing Healthcare.
You will have knowledge to be able to help clients or sign post if required and all of the care is withing clients own homes. This is an absoutle privillage to be part of their support and care.The role also involves assessing new clients, care planning and risk assessing and reviewing care documentation to ensure it is fit for purpose and compiant with CQC.
ESSENTIAL
Must have at least 3 years experience in nursing and be able to demonstrate your knowledge.
Must be willing to do compentency sign off training with staff
Must be confident and competent in many areas of care including and experiene of peg, brain injuries and experience or knowledge of tracheostomies would be advantageous but not essenstial.
As this post involves travel between clients on some days, you must be a car driver and have your own car.
