Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and prepare engaging lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of Reception students.
• Implement the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, fostering holistic development across all areas of learning.
• Create a stimulating and supportive classroom environment conducive to active learning and exploration.
• Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, maintaining open communication channels to support the well-being and progress of each child.
• Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
• Assess student progress through observation, informal assessments, and record-keeping, providing constructive feedback to support continuous growth.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers and support staff to enhance the overall educational experience and promote a cohesive school community.
• Stay abreast of current educational trends, methodologies, and best practices to inform instructional planning and professional development.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
• Experience working with early years or Reception-aged children, preferably within a primary school setting.
• Sound knowledge of the EYFS framework and the ability to effectively implement it in classroom practice.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet curriculum objectives.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.
• A passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a love of learning in young children.
• Flexibility, creativity, and adaptability in responding to the evolving needs of students and the school community
