Package: £32,000 - £35,000 pa + Pension + OTE £60k+ pa - Commission padi monthly + Holidays

Hours: Mon – Thurs 09:00 – 17:30, with an earlier finish on a Friday (Free parking on site)

Location: Salford, (just outside manchester town centre)

My client is a leading Utility Services Consultancy, providing contracts nationwide and several value-added services for their clients. Their Tenant Rebilling service is carried out by their sister company, which is part of the Group of companies.
The business has transformed over the last 3yrs increasing its turnover to over £3m p/annum with an order book and forecast to achieve £4m+ in 2024…

They are seeking an energetic and dynamic person, with energy/utilities industry experience, to join their team of experienced account managers. You will have autonomy in your role but be expected to develop established customers relationships and maximise revenue streams through cross-selling and up-selling our additional services.
As new accounts enter the world, you may also be expected to nurture the growth and establish these customers by providing the best customer experience possible. It is a fast-paced environment, where you will thrive on working within a strong peer group and work closely with new business development and operations departments.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities
 •  Be the custodian of the relationship with a range of existing customers
 •  Develop and maintain long-term relationships with new accounts
 •  Identify and generate account growth by the introduction of new services from their portfolio
 •  Manage customer projects for their services whether it is installation of new meters or delivery of energy assessment reports in a timely and professional manner
 •  Forge relationships with internal stake holders including new business development, operations and Board so they can understand and deliver client demands
 •  Work with external stake holders to maintain and develop business levels including market advice, guidance and forecasting

Desired Skills, Experience & Attributes
 •  Previous experience of account management ideally from the energy market (although not essential)
 •  Strong commercial knowledge
 •  Excellent written and verbal communications skills
 •  Confident in speaking with and delivering customer solutions
 •  Strong people management skills including a consultative and persuasive approach
 •  Good at listening to client’s needs and develop solutions
 •  Pro-active attitude to work effectively and efficiently under pressure
 •  Strong numeracy, Excel and bespoke business systems skills,
