The Ulster Farmers’ Union is seeking to recruit a Policy Officer based out of our head office in Belfast.
This will be a challenging and wide-ranging job working as part of the UFU Policy Team, the successful candidate will be covering dairy and rural affairs.
The job involves assisting with the development of Union policy, the servicing of Union committees, representing the views of the Union across a range of media and lobbying.
Founded in 1918, the Ulster Farmers’ Union (UFU) is the largest democratic voluntary organisation representing farmers and growers in Northern Ireland.
It’s central objective is to promote their interests both at home and abroad through professional lobbying. Today, the UFU has over 12,000 members.
