 •  THE ROLE;
 •  As Area Sales Manager, you will be building strong relationships with Housing Associations, Local authorities and Private registered providers of social housing accommodation across London.
 •  You will be targeting their reactive and planned maintenance departments as mould and condensation issues can not only cause problems within a dwelling, but damp and mould can cause a range of health problems due to poor ventilation.
 •  As Business development manager, you will conduct site surveys on the tenants property (typically 4+ surveys per day), present a mould and condensation solution to the social housing provider and as a highly regarded manufacturer, present your supply and installation service.
 •  You will typically be building relationships with and selling to the reactive and planned maintenance departments of the Local authorities, Housing Associations and Private registered providers across your territory.
 •  These include Heads of Maintenance, local authority officers, maintenance officers and damp and mould specialists.
 •  Although this is a new role created through growth, you will have a database of customers to call on from day 1.
 •  THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE;
 •  The successful BDM/ Area Sales Manager, will ideally have sold into the planned and reactive maintenance departments of Local Authorities, Housing Associations and Private registered providers of social housing accommodation, across London.
 •  Ideally that would be fans and ventilation/air movement, although experience of selling into the planned and reactive maintenance departments of Local Authorities, Housing Associations and Private registered providers of social housing accommodation is more important, as they offer excellent product training.
 •  Aligned products may include security, kitchens and bathrooms, smoke and fire solutions, anti-vandal solutions, windows and doors/glazing etc.
 •  A confident, engaging professional who is able to build strong B2B relationships, but also be credible in the tenants property and happy to conduct mould and damp surveys.
 •  An ambitious individual that is excited to join a team in their infancy.
 •  COMPANY;
 •  Our client is a highly regarded, well established manufacturer of residential, commercial and industrial fans and ventilation.
 •  They are launching new products in the the next few months which will excite the market.
 •  THE REMUNERATION;
 •  £42,000- £50,000 basic salary, dependent on experience. Could be flexible for an industry candidate.
 •  Bonus paid quarterly giving a further 20% earning potential.
 •  Hybrid company car, or possibly a car allowance.
 •  25 days holiday, rising by 1 day per annum, up to a maximum of 28 days, plus 8 Bank holidays.
 •  5% company pension contribution.
 •  Mobile, laptop, all out of pocket expenses.
 •  Regular team get togethers and a comprehensive 2 weeks induction to set you up for success.
