ARNE is an apparel and footwear brand/retailer based in Birchwood Park near Warrington, UK. We design and develop our products in the UK, manufacture in the near & far east and then ship directly to our customers, via ARNEclo.com. We have recently branched out and are now also available via Selfridges both in store and online.

We have ambitious objectives over the next decade with the team believing all targets are achievable through new product category launches in shoes and womenswear alongside the creation of paid media, CRM activity and further international growth to amplify the great product / brand assets we have already created.

We are looking for a Night Shift Leader to join our newly formed night shift pattern within our Operations Department. This new role will be responsible in overseeing all aspects of the shift operation in line with the service level agreements and key performance indicator targets set by the business.
This role will take a reactive, and often independent approach to workload, ensuring that people are in the right place at the right time to drive across the Warehouse.

Requirements
 •  Reporting into the Night Shift Team Manager, oversee the Night Shift Operation to ensure the effective delivery of;
 •  Picking and packing Customer orders, inline the business SLA’s.
 •  Customer returns processing.
 •  Inbound stock and replenishment activities.
 •  All stock control processes and procedures.
 •  Health & Safety Management and development.
 •  In the absence of the Night Shift Team Manager, be the first point of contact to appropriately handle challenges arising out of hours (i.e. people, health and safety, systems, facilities etc) – escalating to key stakeholders as and when required.
 •  Lead and engage a team to drive excellent customer service.
 •  Provide accurate daily shift summary handovers to ensure a smooth transition across all shift patterns.
 •  Ensure workload is distributed effectively throughout the evening, with Colleagues in the right place, at the right time.
 •  Monitor and challenge the Team on their productivity, performance and agreed KPIs to ensure targets are met or exceeded.
 •  Take responsibility for all Health & Safety compliance throughout the Night Shift, ensuring relevant processes and actions are completely accurately, and timely – with escalation to the appropriate stake holder as required.
 •  Be able to confidently handle all areas of People Management for your Team, including;
 •  Ensuring all Colleagues are representing ARNE values and behaviours.
 •  Provide clear, constructive feedback to Colleagues in a timely manner.
 •  Monitor and follow up on absences through return to work meetings – working with the People Team to resolve any concerns.
 •  Reviewing absence requests in line with operational requirements.
 •  Manage conduct and/or capability concerns in line with ARNE’s policy and procedures.
 •  Manage agency worker inductions and onboarding as required.
 •  Challenge existing processes, providing input on continual improvements which increase capacity and improve efficiency.
 •  Any other ad hoc duties as required.

Essential Experience and Skills.
 •  The ability to multi-task and prioritise your own and your teams' workload effectively.
 •  Able to build strong relationships with Stakeholders and the ability to communicate effectively.
 •  Strong organisational and time management skills.
 •  The ability to work as part of a team, as well as independently.
 •  Use your initiative to solve problems unaided.
 •  Team working skills and the ability to lead and motivate others.
 •  Hands-on commitment to getting the job done.
 •  Previous experience in warehousing Health and Safety.
 •  Demonstrable previous experience in a Warehouse Management / Supervisory role is essential.
 •  Experience in Warehouse Management Systems.
 •  Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel.
 •  Stock Control Experience.
 •  Previous HR experience / people management experience.

Your Work Details.
 •  Working on a 4 on, 4 off shift pattern rotation, between the hours of 6pm and 7:30am. This involves weekend work.
 •  You will be on your feet throughout the day, getting your steps in walking and lifting our clothing items.
