Job Title: Production Planner
Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Planner to join our clients growing team. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of the production processes, while meeting customer deadlines and maintaining high quality standards.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain detailed production schedules using Material Requirements Planning (MRP) principles, ensuring they align with customer delivery commitments and production capacity.
Analyze production data to identify and address potential bottlenecks, optimize workflows, and improve efficiency.
Proactively manage inventory levels, working closely with the supply chain team to secure timely material deliveries.
Collaborate effectively with various departments (engineering, operations, sales) to ensure clear communication and alignment throughout the production process.
Monitor production progress, identify and troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain on-time completion.
Generate comprehensive reports to track production performance, identify areas for improvement, and support data-driven decision making.
Continuously strive to improve production processes by identifying and implementing cost-saving measures and best practices.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in a production planning role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
Working knowledge of MRP systems ( Microsoft AX ERP Systems) and production planning techniques. SAP4/Hana Cloud experience will be an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel with PivotTables and formulas).
Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
A passion for efficiency and continuous improvement.
