Quality Inspector
Connect Appointments are recruiting for a Quality Inspector for our client based in Dalgety Bay on a permanent basis.
As a Quality Inspector, your role will be to ensure all products meet quality standards before reaching the client. You will work within a team ensuring quality checks are carried out efficiently. The role will also involve identifying any defects or issues, ensuring that corrective action is taken effectively.
Schedule: Monday to Wednesday, 7am to 5pm. Thursday, 7am to 4:30pm
What to expect as a Quality Inspector:
• Inspecting products at different stages of production and assembly
• Recording all results of inspections and using this data to identify areas for further improvement
• Working in collaboration with different functions and teams within the business
• Maintaining quality control documentation
• Training staff in quality inspection so that procedures and standards are consistent across the board
What we're looking for:
• Previous experience in a Quality Inspection role, ideally within an electronics manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of quality inspection methodologies and electrical assembly processes
• Excellent attention to detail
• Knowledge of quality management systems within a manufacturing environment (including ISO9001 and IPC610)
• Excellent communication skills
• Sound IT skills, with the ability to use software for data analysis
