We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to join our team and help us drive construction projects to successful completion.

Job Description:

As Project Manager on a £10million new build D&B logistics units and associated works, you will play a pivotal role in planning, executing, and delivering construction projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the project, from the initial planning and design phase to project closeout. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, as well as a deep understanding of construction processes and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables. Develop comprehensive project plans, budgets, and schedules.

Resource Management: Allocate and manage project resources, including labour, materials, and equipment, to ensure efficient and cost-effective project execution.

Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Proactively address issues that may impact project timelines and budgets.

Contract Management: Oversee contract negotiations, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Monitor subcontractors and suppliers to ensure they meet project expectations.

Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality control processes to ensure that construction work adheres to industry standards and meets project specifications.

Safety and Compliance: Ensure that the construction site complies with safety regulations and industry standards. Implement safety measures and protocols to protect workers and site visitors.

Communication: Maintain open and clear communication with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and team members. Provide regular project status updates.

Financial Management: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and manage cost control measures to ensure projects are delivered within budget.

Change Management: Assess and manage project changes, including scope modifications and change orders. Evaluate the impact on project timelines and budgets.

Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including progress reports, meeting minutes, and project records. Ensure all project-related paperwork is in order.

Client Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, addressing their concerns and ensuring their satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or HNC in Construction or Project Management or Civil Engineering, Minimum of 5 years of Project Management experience in the construction industry.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
In-depth knowledge of construction processes, codes, and regulations.
Strong financial acumen and budget management skills.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
