What's involved?
As a Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for the preparation, cooking and presentation of dishes for all food outlets, working as part of a kitchen team of 11, whilst following instructions from the Sous and Head Chefs. You'll be familiar with the menu's as well as any 'specials', to ensure all dishes are presented to the approved standard and in a timely manner, minimising wastage to act in a cost effective manner.
You will manage and train any junior chefs working with you, and will assist senior chefs in developing new dishes for the menus, ensuring they comply with company brand standards.
At all times, you should ensure that both yourself and your team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety as well as ensuring HACCP compliance.
