Polytec are looking for a Facilities Engineer for our client based in Ely. You will be required to attend site for emergency out of ours call outs for this role.
Responsibilities:
• Building maintenance and repairs including preventative maintenance and routine servicing
• Maintain plant in serviceable order ensuring plant faults and defects are rectified quickly
• Lead preparation and installation of potential installation projects
• Assist in the design, development and modification of new and current site equipment
• Statutory compliance of required regulations ensuring all records are accurate
Requirements:
• At least 5 years' experience as a Maintenance / Facilities Engineer
• Experience working in a manufacturing building environment
• Good working knowledge of building maintenance statutory compliance regulations
• Electrician Level 3 City and Guilds, 18th Edition IET
• Proven experience in Electrical and Mechanical Building infrastructure
• PAT Certificate
• Experience and knowledge of HVAC systems, plant and components and building services electrical and mechanical systems, CCTV, fire alarms and security systems (Access Controls)
• Air Handling Units, Compressed Air and Water System
• IPAF Cherry Picker Licence, FLT Licence
• Experience in contractor management including PTW and reviewing risk assessments
