Are you seeking a role that goes beyond the ordinary? One where your work directly impacts the well-being of dogs, cats, and their devoted owners? If so, we have an exceptional opportunity awaiting you…

Our client is a distinctive organisation dedicated to providing expert veterinary care, rescue and rehoming services, community programmes, and invaluable guidance to enhance the lives of dogs and cats in need, both in London and beyond. Currently, they are in search of a Veterinary Head Nurse to lead their nursing team on a full-time basis.

Established in North West London since 1925, our client's community vet clinic has been a pillar of support for nearly a century, administering tens of thousands of treatments to countless dogs and cats. Their modern, well-equipped veterinary facility offers a range of preventative treatments free of charge, serving those who may otherwise be unable to afford such care.
Additionally, they perform various surgeries and treatments to ensure the animals in their care are prepared for rehoming.

As a member of their dedicated team, you will be part of a passionate and diverse group comprising approximately 80 staff and 150 volunteers. Given the ever-growing demand for their services, they are eager to welcome a Head RVN with a keen interest in shelter and charity medicine.

Their practice is proudly RCVS accredited and serves as a training centre for veterinary students from the University of Surrey.

They are seeking a Head Nurse who is a qualified RVN with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in shelter medicine. The ideal candidate will mirror our client's compassion and unwavering commitment to animal welfare. You will play a pivotal role in providing inspirational, forward-thinking, and collaborative leadership to their team of nurses, animal carers, and clinic receptionists.
