Our client is looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their expanding team on a full time basis. The practice is located in the town of Maidstone in Kent. With a wide variety of excellent properties on offer, some top schools and excellent transport links to London it is easy to see why Maidstone's status is on the increase.
The practice itself is well-facilitated offering many services including dental services, diagnostic imaging, laboratory services, internal medicine arthritis and mobility clinics, surgical services and much more. It is also an ISFM silver cat friendly clinic.
You will be joining a friendly and experienced team of veterinary staff including 5 vets, 2 of whom are very experienced clinicians. They have both been qualified 20 years+ and are both fantastic surgeons as well as feline GP certificate holders.
In addition, one of the vets has a RCVS Certificate in Small Animal Medicine. The team all try to get together when they can outside of work and look forward to their all-practice summer BBQ's and Christmas party.
As this role involves some sole charge consulting, it is ideally suited to a vet with some experience, but that could be a confident 2021 graduate up to a very experienced clinician. Their philosophy is it's all about the right team fit, rather than having mastered certain procedures, as new skills can always be taught.
The Rota:
• Full time role
• Day runs from 8.30am with the last afternoon consult booked at 5.45pm with time set aside for admin
• 1:3 Saturday mornings and if you have worked a Saturday morning, you will have one full day off during the week
• No Sundays or Bank Holidays
The Benefits:
• Salary is £35,000 - £60,000
• 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, plus 1 day for each additional year's service (up to a maximum of 30 days)
