A main contractor operating within London and the Home Counties areas. They provide new build, refurbishment and planned maintenance services within the residential, commercial, education and public sectors and have an excellent reputation for delivering projects to the highest of standards, safely, to programme and budget.
Site Manager
Due to continued increase in orders they are now seeking a Site Manager to join their team to work on regeneration and refurbishment projects predominately within the Lewisham and surrounding areas. You will report into a Contracts Manager and be responsible for the safe delivery of projects ensuring they are delivered to strict programmes to the highest quality.
Client focussed and personally driven, you will have the ability to grow with the company and further develop excellent client relationships. You will join an existing team and manage the day to day site activities of internal and external upgrades to properties under your remit.
Typical projects will include; electrical rewire/upgrade, kitchen & bathroom works, external repairs and redecoration/roof works, possible fire upgrade works to communal areas dependant on each properties individual requirements etc.
You will be responsible for the short term planning, Scheduling of materials, overseeing and coordinating staff and sub-contractors, completing various Health and Safety requirements, security and other traditional site management duties.
You will:
• Have experience within the Decent Homes/Cyclical Redecoration sector
• Experience in Decent Homes Standard is Essential
• Ideally hold a relevant Site Management qualification (NVQ/HNC highly desirable)
• Ability to manage established delivery team with a full understanding of PPC 2000 and partnership projects
• Be computer literate
• First Aid and CSCS Card
• Have excellent communication and motivational skills
• A stable work history
• A full UK Drivers licence
