Sales Executive (Industrial Services)

Our client, an award-winning, independently owned waste operator, is looking to recruit a Sales Executive to join its small and skilled Industrial Services team based in the South East. You’ll be involved in projects covering areas such as tank cleaning, site decontamination, decommissioning, spillages and emergency response clearances.
You will report into the company’s Head Office in South Oxfordshire but this is predominately a field-based role covering mainly the Home Counties and London.
Working closely with the Industrial Services Manager, you will help build and develop a customer base with varied requirements – from industrial preventative maintenance needs to reactive emergencies in various industries, from food manufacturing to pharma research.
You will retain existing business; however, the emphasis will be to establish new customers, undertaking site visits and thoroughly assessing jobs. Building relationships with other internal sales teams to generate leads is also important.
Candidate Requirements:
• A proactive and collaborative sales professional with a proven track record of negotiating and closing deals, ideally in the specialised cleaning/decontamination/industrial services industry.
• Waste management knowledge.
• Previous experience of complying with health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Good computer skills, including social media.
• Full UK driving licence.
Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, 8:30am-5pm, Mon-Fri, although flexibility will be required.
